Conan Liquid one half of the successful DJ and production team “Liquid People” has now decided to spread his wings and become a solo producer and DJ in his own right. It is a story of passion, ambition and many coincidental factors that could only ever have been mapped out for Conan by the hands of fate.
After a decade as a professional DJ has taken to working in the studio and Dj solo again playing at some of the biggest clubs the world has to offer. Due to his incredible technical ability, production and beat programming skills you can expect a faultless set of good quality beat driven house music, with live re-edits, and live remixing on the fly. Few DJs can say they have remained at the top of a scene for near on a decade, yet this man can.
Arsam’s passion for music began in his hometown located in Northern California just miles outside of music and art Mecca San Francisco. This inspiration developed into a full blown passion for house music. Over the last couple years Arsam has turned to producing and has been continuing to develop his production skills by spending a great deal of time in the studio. Arsam currently resides in Washington DC where he has engaged in various musical projects ( including Empresarios Music ) and DJ gigs all over the area. In the past year his music has been charted, played on radio stations and has received great feedback from established artists and record labels.
2009 proved to be a year full of positive production and DJ experience and Arsam hopes to continue this momentum into 2010 with even more focus on his music that will range from deep to tech to funky house. He expects the upcoming years to be full of projects and opportunities that will allow him to build upon his experience. Stay Tuned!
Elliot produces and DJ’s all forms of House and Techno and has released in genres from Deep house to Minimal Techno. As well as Endemic Digital, Elliot has released for the likes of Influential House, Redking Records, Sinsation Sound, We Continue and Ecology and has produced remixes for Cubism, Northern Exposure recordings and Hush recordings.
Having remixed for big talent such as Onionz, Rocky, Terry Farley and Peter Lazonby to name a few, his tracks have received worldwide radio play including plays on Xpress 2 Kiss fm show and Carl Cox’s Global Radio show.
From House to Techno, Breaks to Disco… it’s always been about diversity for Onionz. His time on the road cemented relationships with DJs and producers from city to city and in over 30 different countries. The results of his labor of love and respected relationships have helped to establish over 100 studio projects and counting.
With over 30 years of music under his belt, a heavy travel itinerary, and multiple production and remix projects taking place, he has definitely kept the dance floor moving. As Onionz would say; to keep it fresh, you just have to continuously create and consistently rock it!
Originally hailing from Manchester,UK, Nik Frattaroli is an up and coming new kid on the block. After Dj-in his way around Sydney and the UK for the last 6 years, he is successfully carving out a new niche in production. Nik is only 18 months into his production career but already he has signed several tracks to labels such as Berwick Street Records and Influential House, with more tracks and remixes due to be released on Endemic Digital shortly.
Nik has already had strong support for his productions with Chus & Ceballos featuring Anil Chawla’s remix of Roma on the latest covermount CD for DJ Mag and Jorum receiving a 7/10 in I-DJ.
With more new releases coming up on a number of different labels and with roots deeply in tech, progressive, deep and latin inspired house, Nik is most definitely one to watch in 2010!
To call Colin Dale “legendary” is no over-estimation, here is a DJ that has been one of London’s most cutting edge DJs for over 20 years and still continues to surprise and marvel. Music was always a big part of the Dale family’s life; Soul, Reggae, Jazz and Funk, even before Colin left school his friends included Fabio, Grooverider, Dave Angel, Jumping Jack Frost and Bryan Gee, all who went on to be top DJs in their respective scenes.
Fast forward to now and its all systems go, there’s the new revamped Abstrakt Dance record label and web-site due in 2009, lots of new music productions a new studio in London and also regular “Wildlife nights. There’s also the first ever DJ management agency that specialises in the world of the digital DJ, things are all good.
Not concerned by the endless statements of DJ’s and producer’s claiming to be the next big thing, Justin just gets on with what he does best; forward thinking house music. With his style firmly meshed in all things deep, this is one DJ who can make you feel like you’re on a sun drenched beach in Ibiza or the pits of a dark club about to lose your sanity.
His mixes are highly regarded with a ‘Top Pick’ in DJ Mag Summer 2007 as well as an ongoing podcast series for Progressive-Sounds.com. His Deep and Techy DJ sets are reflected onto his production with releases and remixes so far on labels such as Endemic, Cubism, Stripped, Base Legere and No Border, combining lush deep grooves and melodies with hard edged Tech beats. His work is now gaining recognition and support from some of the industry’s top DJ’s including Hernan Cattaneo, Hybrid, Neil Quigley, Matt Thomas (King Unique) & Jody Wisternoff (Way Out West).
As a DJ, John Lee has been know for a wide spectrum of music overtime, and now as Moojaa those influences have been compressed in to the verying forms of Electronic music you now hear.
Producing under his moniker of Moojaa, he has already been enjoying releases and remixes on labels including Stripped and Brain Kat and has his awesome ‘Enchanted Frog’ forthcoming on the Endemic Digital imprint.
Emerging on to the house music scene over ten years ago, Ryan has established himself as one of the south easts (UK) finest DJ’s and producers. With releases on the likes of Kidology Records under his guise the Tweek Freekz and on Influential House (which he co-founded back in 2000 alongside Scott Harrington), he has also held down residencies and guest spots for the likes of the infamous Smartie Partie, MOS, Pacha, Turnmills and the Cross to name a few.
After a succesful 2008 with DJ and label partner Scott Harrington, playing for the likes of Toolroom Knights, Defected in the House, Kinky Malinki and the infamous and almighty Subliminal Sessions, Ryan Continues in to 2009 by remixing the infamous Onionz track Road Warrior and Terry Farley and Rocky’s track entitled Maurice.
Owner of Endemic Digital, a UK House Music imprint, Scott Harrington has been involved within the house music scene since the early nineties, as DJ, Promoter, Label Consultant and more recently producing.
At 33, Scott has been involved with some fantastic projects and has had the pleasure of working alongside some of the finest DJ’s and producers in the business, including Jose Nunez, Terry Farley, Rocky, Colin Dale, Onionz, ATFC, Eddie Richards, Milton Jackson, JT Donaldson, Conan Liquid, Chris Fortier and has played for the likes of Smartie Partie, The Gallery, Toolroom Knights, Defected in the House, Kinki Malinki, Housexy and the almighty Subliminal Sessions!
Phil Thompson AKA Moonface is a DJ and producer living, breathing the underground dance music scene for over 20 years now. Since being signed to John Digweed’s label Bedrock, Phil became resident at the monthly Bedrock London and Brighton nights. Phil has also been a regular at high profile events in the UK as well as major club nights and dance festivals covering most of the top spots around the globe. Recent gigs at JUNK club, Southampton; Ministry of Sound, London; Global Underground, Moscow plus regular events in Greece.
As a producer, Moonface has an impressive discography including releases on numerous compilation CDs such as the ‘Balance Series 006’ on EQ Recordings and the legendary Global Underground and Nubreed series, including ‘GU is 10’ a must-have compilation celebrating 10 years of the Global Underground sound. Bedrock released ‘Layered Sounds’ mixed by John Digweed and Phil Thompson and the now classic sounds of ‘Between Worlds’, a six track album of Moonface tracks, was also released on the same label and in 2001 was voted album of the month by several industry magazines.
More recently, Phil remixed Colin Dale’s ‘Joy’ out on Endemic, plus his Moonface track ‘Know So’ along with more to follow. Back in 2008 saw Paulo Mojo’s remix of ‘You Get So Give’ feature on the compilation CD ‘Bedrock 10, Past, Present and Future’. This year Bedrock 11 will feature yet another classic Moonface track ‘Futurized Fears’ remixed by Guy J released October 2009.
2009 saw Phil looking for a new direction and this turned up in the form of DJ, producer and friend Tim Cook. After a number of years promoting and playing at their own club nights ‘Cartel’ alongside industry heavy weights such as Terry Francis, Omid 16b and Adultnapper, Phil and Tim then created the new project ‘Animalz’ about to be released into the wild! As well as working in the studio together; they already have a string of remixes lined up. They’ll also be performing together; back to back with a laptop each, a 2 deck Dj midi controller each, with use of loops and fx to keep things moving, two very distinctive styles coming together to make one relentless vibe.
Greg Mak. A Jazz/Funk Bass guitarist who’s biggest passion is Electronic music. After many years of experimenting with different styles, he has developed a unique sound of Deep/Tech/Minimal. However he still enjoys producing & remixing other types of electronic music.
Greg has DJ’d all around UK & Cyprus playing strictly underground music. His tracks have also entered in the Top100 charts, which have received support by Hernan Cattaneto, Sasha and M.A.N.D.Y. to name a few.
